Graphic Design
The First and Lasting Impression
With bold graphics and strong copy, our graphic capabilities show your product, or service, in the best light. Relevant information is organized, your copy is meaningful, compelling and succinct, correctly projecting your image and message to your target market. Kaye Marketing has produced hundreds of logos, brochures, promotional packages, ads, direct mailers, sales flyers, identity packages and countless other projects over the past 20+ years, many of which have appeared in national publications and promotions.
Like a fine perfume, good logo design is one of balance. You want a logo that is memorable and stands out as a reflection of you and your business, but you do not want a logo that overwhelms. A logo that focuses more attention on itself than on the business it represents is not doing its job at all.
How has your logo been doing lately?
Have you noticed that it has not been printing as clearly as it should be?
Are you less than thrilled with the first impression that your logo seems to be giving off for your business?
Does your logo have an up-to-date feel, or is it retro without any intentions of being retro?
Does it send the message to your customers that you are a cutting edge business offering up-to-date products and services?
Many businesses are afraid to change their logo because they have had it for so many years. However, over time, like most things, logos can become tired and unappealing. You can still give your logo a tune-up without changing its entire look. It’s analogous to a subtle change in hair style or color. People say, “Wow, you look great!” but they can not pinpoint the change.
Making Your Logo Shine
If the Beatles were interested in graphic design, they would have changed their lyrics to “You say you want a resolution.” The quality of any graphic image is no better than its format and resolution. This is where experience counts. There are about seven common file formats plus the native applications such as InDesign or Illustrator for your logo. A good designer will make sure that you are using the right format for the particular application and that you have the right resolution for the specific design. You can have an award-winning logo, but if it is not properly set-up for the application for which it is being used, it will look terrible. If you are not sure whether your logo is up-to-date or if you have the right format, check with a professional designer. Often, older logos can be redrawn to look brand new.
